Earlier this morning, Apple began issuing invitations to the company’s forthcoming September media event, which is all but confirmed will play host to the unveiling of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus! This year’s rumors attempting to pinpoint the exact date of the aforementioned conference were surprisingly correct and, guess what, it’s only 13 days away!
That’s right, Apple will hold their iPhone unveiling keynote this year on Wednesday, September 9th at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California.
Apple Confirms iPhone 6S Release Date!
As pictured above, the invitation for September 9th features the stem of the company’s iconic logo with what is no doubt the beginning of the base of said logo, with one catch: it appears to be reminiscent of the Siri redesign that was first introduced with the Apple Watch this Spring, which has since been adapted for next month’s iOS 9 release.

Moreover, the tag line for the invitation, which the company has always used in the past as a subtle hint as to the topic(s) of discussion during events, reads as follows: “Hey Siri, give us a hint.” Comically, starting today, when users say “Hey Siri, give me a hint”, the assistant replies in some snarky form or another that suggests all will be revealed on the 9th.
Beyond the iPhone 6S, Apple is also expected to announce the final release date of both iOS 9 and watchOS 2 at the event, and possibly even refresh the long overdue Apple TV.
