Having said that, let’s continue and Jailbreak iOS 8.3 utilizing TaiG in today’s tutorial!

This guide will aid you in the process of achieving an iOS 8.3 Jailbreak using TaiG 2.1.2 for all iOS-based devices, including the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 4s, the iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, original iPad Air, Retina iPad mini 2, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2 and, last but certainly not least, the 5th generation iPod touch.

Before Jailbreaking – OTA Update

If you updated to the current iteration of iOS 8 your device is running, whether it’s iOS 8.1.3, 8.2 or 8.3, via Apple’s built-in OTA (over-the-air) update feature – you need to follow these simple steps:

1. Backup inside of iTunes.

2. Restore to iOS 8.3 (provided iOS 8.3 is still the latest public firmware, if iOS 8.4 is out, you must live with the complications of a Jailbreak on an OTA updated device).

3. Restore from your backup that was created in the first step and continue with the remainder of this guide.

As a prelude, it’s highly recommended that you watch the above video in its entirety, as it will ensure the success of your iOS 8.3 Jailbreak when followed to the letter.
